The company made the list of Sunday Times Fast Track 100 in 2019. The Alternative Airlines website displays flight search results in real time from over 600 airlines. After searching and comparing flights, users can then book their flights through the Alternative Airlines platform. The Alternative Airlines site was founded with the aim of offering customers an easy way to book flights on smaller regional airlines around the world, to help travellers discover remote locations.
Alternative Airlines was founded in 2007, with the launch of its site: www.alternativeairlines.com.
In 2015, users were able to use PayPal to pay for flights through the Alternative Airlines website for the first time.
