Aleksandr Danilovich Aleksandrov (born 22 July 1912 in Ryazan Oblast, died 27 July 1999 in Moscow) was a Soviet and Russian physicist and mathematician. He held citizenship in both the Soviet Union and Russia.

Aleksandrov completed his education at Saint Petersburg State University. He served as a doctoral advisor to several students, including Aleksei Pogorelov, Grigori Perelman, Victor Zalgaller, Yuri Burago, Vladik Kreinovich, and Yurii Reshetnyak. His own doctoral advisor was Boris Delaunay.

Aleksandrov was known for his work in various mathematical fields, with his notable works including Alexandrov's uniqueness theorem, Aleksandrov–Rassias problem, mixed volume, and Alexandrov theorem.

He received several awards throughout his career, such as the Order of Honor, Order of Friendship of Peoples, Medal "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", Order of Lenin, Honored Scientist of the RSFSR, Order of the Red Banner of Labour, and the Stalin Prize.
