The Tilt assists content entrepreneurs to grow their audiences and communities, teaches them how to create different revenue streams, and helps creators with business operations, including legal issues, payments, and staffing. The company publishes a biweekly newsletter with how-to features, creator case studies and news, and hosts the annual Content Entrepreneur Expo (CEX). It operates in a Web3 world with $TILT coin currency as both an incentive and payment system.

It covers the six major contracts a creator will encounter in their business to protect themselves. It explains the intricacies of copyrights, trademarks, and licenses. The Tilt surveyed about 1,000 content creators to assess their motivating factors, how they build their content business, and how they hit major business milestones. The findings are collated in a report called The Creator Next Door. The Creator Next Door is published by The Tilt, alongside Ann Handley and Further.
