The company is comprised of a collection to record labels including Asylum, Atlantic, Bad Boy, Cordless, East West, Elektra, Maverick, Nonesuch, Reprise, Rhino, Roadrunner, Rykodisc, Sire, Warner Bros. , and Word. The company is international and operates through numerous international affiliates and licenses through more than fifty countries.

The company provides distribution and marketing for music via networks through the Alternative Distribution Alliance which is a global distribution company for independent artists and labels. The company works with over 65,000 songwriters and composers with a collection of over one million copyrights.

Warner Music Group is also known for providing royalties to their artists. They provide access to royalty statements on their online Artist Royalties Portal.
