Overview

Vita Inclinata Technologies is an aerospace company that develops precision control and safety systems for helicopters, cranes, and other aerospace platforms. The company was founded in 2012 by CEO Caleb Carr and CTO Derek Sikora, and is based in Broomfield, Colorado.

Vita Inclinata Technologies is composed of two branches: Vita Aerospace, which develops safety systems for helicopters and other aircraft, and Vita Industrial, which creates safety systems for cranes and other industrial equipment. Vita Aerospace is the developer of the Vita Rescue System, an autonomous tool that aims to make rescue operations with helicopters safer. The system is intended to replace taglines and ground crews, which have been traditionally been used in helicopter rescue operations to guide a "litter," or rescue basket attached to a line, to the ground. The Vita Rescue System utilizes high-powered fans and smart software to stabilize the litter for a number of rescue operations. The system is meant to overcome problems that are common with helicopter rescue operations, such as difficult terrain, weather, or lack of a ground crew.

Vita Industrial, Vita Inclinata's second branch, is the creator of the Vita Lifting System, a precision and control system for cranes. The Vita Lifting System's Load Pilot allows crane operators to quickly place loads under 25,000 pounds. The system allows for direct user controlled positioning, has an autonomous hold function, and features a wireless load pendant that enables crane operators to rotate a load and stabilize it against high winds and dangerous weather conditions. The Load Pilot has a weight of 515 pounds and features a 1.5-3 hour charge time. Vita Industrial also develops a Load Navigator, and adjustable system capable of handling loads that exceed 25,000 pounds. The Load Navigator attaches to a crane's spreader bars, allowing operators to stabilize a variety of load sized and weights. The Load Navigator is available in 20 or 40 ton options, with a four hour to eight hour charging time.
