Viktor Vekselberg is a Russian entrepreneur, engineer, and art collector born on April 14, 1957 in Drohobych, Ukraine. He holds citizenship in both Russia and Cyprus. Vekselberg is the founder of the Fabergé Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia, as well as Hevel Company. He is currently the CEO of Renova Group, a company he also owns.
Vekselberg's Renova Group has subsidiaries Columbus Nova and Renova Group; he also owns Columbus Nova. In addition to his business interests, Vekselberg is a prominent art collector and owns several valuable Fabergé eggs, including the First Hen, Bay Tree, and others.
Throughout his career, Vekselberg has received numerous awards, such as the Order of Merit for the Fatherland (3rd and 4th class), Order of Alexander Nevsky, and Order of Honor, among others.
