The enterprise designs, manufactures and services traction rolling stock of a new generation, distinguished by increased efficiency, high consumer, operating and environmental properties.
The plant manufactures Sinara DC mainline electric freight locomotives with collector traction drive, Granit DC mainline electric freight locomotives with asynchronous traction drive, AC mainline electric locomotives and Lastochka high-speed electric trains of various modifications.

Designed for driving freight trains on the railroads of 1520 mm gauge, electrified with 3 kV direct current. It can drive trains weighing up to 9000 tons on the sections with inclination up to 8%. The electric locomotive is equipped with independent excitation of traction motors. Microprocessor control and diagnostic system is implemented. The arrangement of electrical circuits and equipment in each section allows the operation of the locomotive according to the system of many units, as well as the autonomous operation of one section of the locomotive. There is a microclimate system, sanitary and household equipment.
The Granit DC mainline electric freight locomotive with asynchronous traction drive was developed by the specialists of the R&D department of Ural Locomotives LLC and Siemens AG Concern. It allows driving trains weighing up to 8-10 thousand tons. The presentation of the first prototype of the Granit locomotive took place on November 18, 2010.
To increase the capacity of the Granit electric locomotive up to 13,2 MW a booster section was developed at the enterprise. Application of this option allows the locomotives to move trains weighing up to 9000 tons without separation at the breaking stations.
The electric locomotive is actually a variant of the 2ES10 "Granit" electric locomotive, designed to work on AC power supply sections of 25 kV. The prototype was built in July 2013. In 2014, it was temporarily operated at Kr
asnoufimsk depot of Gorki Railways.
Designed for passenger transportation on electrified DC lines on routes with high passenger traffic, equipped with high platforms, with a turnover section length of no more than 200 km and a design (maximum) speed in operation of 160 km/h.
Russian Lastochka cars bodies are made of special aluminum alloys, which ensures high corrosion resistance of the construction, relatively low weight combined with high strength properties.
The first Russian-built Lastochka trains (ES2G), in contrast to those made in Germany (in Russia - ES1), are designed exclusively for the operation on the 3 kV DC lines and are designed for the passenger service within the metropolitan and suburban areas. This modification surpasses its German counterpart in terms of power (2932 against 2500 kW) and reliability of operation. A more powerful traction drive than the European version provides increased acceleration indicators, which allows the company to maintain a busy schedule even with frequent stops for embarkation and disembarkation of passengers.
Later, the plant mastered the production of an enhanced comfort DC electric train (ES2GP) and an enhanced comfort dual-system electric train (ES1P).
