The University of Osijek (also known as Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek or Sveucilište Josipa Jurja Strossmayera u Osijeku) is a public educational institute located in Osijek, Croatia. It was founded on May 31, 1975, by Josip Juraj Strossmayer. The university is accredited by the Agency for Science and Higher Education, Croatia and is a member of the European University Association.
