Undertale is a computer role-playing game developed by programmer and composer Toby Fox. The player controlled a child who accidentally fell into a hole and ended up in the Dungeon, in a large world isolated from people. In an attempt to return, the player encounters many different ones that have existed, some of which treat him unfavorably. During the game, you can control a small heart, which symbolizes the soul of the hero; by avoiding "Bullet Hell" style attacks, the player can choose to kill or spare the attacker, with consequences later on. Also, the forecast is affected by interaction with other characters outside the factions.
Toby Fox created Undertale on his own, including writing the story and music; only some of the additional sprites were drawn by other artists. Fox was inspired to create Undertale by the Japanese role-playing game EarthBound, as well as the English situation comedy Mr. Bean. The game was originally supposed to be approximately two hours long and be released in mid-2014, but development dragged on for the next three years.
