SignalFire is a venture capital and private equity firm that is headquartered in San Francisco, California and was founded in 2012 by Chris Farmer and Ilya Kirnos. SignalFire combines their data analysis platform with traditional portfolio services to make their investment decisions. SignalFire also offers a talent recruitment platform that helps companies with: recruitment process optimization, leadership development & mentorship, executive recruiting, technical recruiting, talent research, advisor network, community development, and a talent sourcing tool.


As of January 31, 2019 SignalFire claims to have $375 million under their management.

Seed fund

SignalFire's Seed Fund is made for investing up to $5 million in series A funding for early stage startup companies. The fund closed in 2014 with $53 million in capital that was invested into 8 startup companies.

Breakout fund and SignalFire Fund II

In 2017 Signal fire raised 101.6 million in capital for its Breakout Fund and SignalFire Fund II.
