In 2000, Saba Software became a publicly listed company which lasted until 2015, when Saba Software was acquired by Vector Capital, a venture capital firm investing in technology-focused enterprises.

During its early years, Saba Software was well-known for its innovations in learning management systems. Since 2009, Saba Software also offers the company’s services through a cloud-based system.
