Rumble is a web and video hosting service founded in 2013. The site mainly hosts conservative political content. Rumble has described itself as being "immune to cancel culture" and states that its mission is to "restore the Internet to its roots by making it free and open once again.” It has fewer content restrictions than other popular social media sites like YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. This has led to a spread of misinformation and conspiracies on the platform regarding topics like Covid-19 and political elections. Two percent of Americans regularly read news from Rumble, 76 percent of which identify as Republicans. Rumble has headquarters in Toronto, Canada and Longboat Key, Florida.
In August 2022, the Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) announced an agreement with Rumble to host advertisements on Truth Social––Donald Trump's social media site––via Rumble Ads. TMTG was the first major group to use the service. In September 2022, Rumble and CF Acquisition Corp. VI announced the completion of a previously announced merger.
