Peter Briger

Peter is a principal and Co-Chairman of the board of directors of Fortress. He has served as a member of the board of directors of Fortress since November 2006 and was elected Co-Chairman in August 2009. He has been a member of the Management Committee of Fortress since March 2002 and is responsible for the Credit and Real Estate business at Fortress. Prior to joining Fortress in March 2002, Briger spent fifteen years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he became a partner in 1996. He serves on the board of Tipping Point, a non-profit organization serving low income families in San Francisco. Peter also serves on the board of Caliber Schools, a network of charter schools committed to preparing students for success in competitive four-year colleges and beyond. Briger received a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

The Company raises, invests, and manages assets such as range of credit and real estate, private equity, and permanent capital investment strategies.
