OneBio

OneBio is headquartered in Root Switzerland, and was founded by Bruno Ehrler in 2018. The company makes biodata (biological samples and health related information) data (taken with consent) available to life science companies and other organizations through its online biodata platform. Anyone using OneBio securely records and stores their biodata, and can choose to share their data (for free or for a price) with various organizations such as pharmaceutical companies or research organizations.

OneBio uses their OneBio Digital Ledger to create a secure, peer-to-peer biodata ecosystem for preclinical, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, distribution, and patient data. Users of the OneBio Digital Ledger are given a digital wallet capable of storing their information. Users are issued BioData Tokens using secure smart contracts for sharing their data — which can than be converted into other payment currencies.
