Overview
Norris Tie is a Stanford and UCLA graduate who founded Exosonic, a California company building a sixty-seat supersonic passenger aircraft that can fly supersonically overland and overwater with a muted sonic boom. Tie studied at UCLA for undergrad before becoming a propulsion engineer at Northrop Grumman, The Spaceship Company, and Lockheed Martin. After leaving Lockheed, Tie began a graduate program at Stanford where he would later launch his company Exosonic, where he now serves as founder and CEO.
