Nikita Mikhalkov, born on October 21, 1945, in Moscow, is a multifaceted personality known for his work as an actor, film director, screenwriter, film producer, lecturer, presenter, and television presenter. He also has experience as an entrepreneur and singer. Mikhalkov is a citizen of both the Soviet Union and Russia.
He received his education from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography and the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute. Mikhalkov is the son of Sergey Mikhalkov and the father of Nadezhda Mikhalkova and Anna Mikhalkova.
Some of Mikhalkov's notable works include directing films such as "Oblomov", "Burnt by the Sun", and "The Barber of Siberia". He also authored the screenplays for "Burnt by the Sun" and "The Barber of Siberia".
Over his career, Mikhalkov has received various awards: Honored Artist of the RSFSR, People's Artist of the RSFSR, Gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation, and multiple classes of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland".
