Melvin Schwartz

Melvin Schwartz was an American physicist born on February 11, 1932, in New York City . He was a citizen of the United States and received his education from Columbia University . Schwartz was a doctoral student of Jack Steinberger , and later, James Enstrom was his doctoral student .

Schwartz was awarded the 1988 Nobel Prize in Physics . He passed away on August 28, 2006, in Twin Falls, Idaho .
