Biography
Early Years
Born September 10, 1972 in the family of actors Emanuel Vitorgan and Alla Balter.
He studied at the Moscow school number 20 with teaching a number of subjects in English.
In 1993 he graduated from GITIS (course of I. I. Sudakova).
Career
After graduating from the institute, he was admitted to the Moscow Youth Theater, where he played in classical productions: "Thunderstorm" and "Execution of the Decembrists."
In 1999, he moved to the Lenkom Theater, where he played in performances: Cruel Intentions, Sage, Sex, Lies and Video. Two years later he was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov. He played in the performances "Antigone", "Yu", "A slight taste of treason", "Number", "Crime and Punishment".
In 2004, he acted as a director of television programs - "Sky Light" on the REN TV channel and "First Night with Oleg Menshikov" on the NTV channel; and one of the organizers of the festival "Invasion". Since 1994 he has been acting in films. He is best known for his role as DJ Max in Election Day, Radio Day, and What Else Men Talk About.
Since 2007, he has been taking part as a director and actor in a television sketch show on the REN TV channel "Distant relatives". In 2008, he was the director of a television sketch show on the TNT channel "Women's League". In 2009, the director of the play "Who" in the "Other Theatre".
In 2011, he was awarded for the play "Who" at the "Other Theater" with the audience award "Live Theater" in the nomination "Director of the Year: New Wave". Repeatedly took part in protests against election fraud. Personal life
The first marriage was with the actress of the Youth Theater Victoria Verberg (born June 10, 1963). Daughter Polina (born July 26, 1996), actress, son Daniel (born September 19, 2000).
Second marriage with Natalia, marketer.
Third marriage with Ksenia Sobchak (born November 5, 1981), TV presenter and journalist (from February 1, 2013 to January 21, 2019), son Platon Vitorgan-Sobchak (born November 18, 2016). On January 21, 2019, a fight broke out between Vitorgan and director Konstantin Bogomolov. On March 8, 2019, Sobchak and Vitorgan confirmed that they had been living separately for a long time, but continued to raise their son together.
