Mae Jemison

Mae Jemison, also known as Mae Carol Jemison, was born on October 17, 1956, in Decatur, Alabama. She is a United States citizen and has had various occupations including astronaut, physician, professor, physicist, actor, and engineer.

Jemison received her education from several institutions. She attended Morgan Park High School, Stanford University, Stanford University School of Engineering, and Weill Cornell Medicine. She is currently living in Houston, Texas.
