MTR Corporation is a Hong Kong-based company offering public transport services. The company is the owner and operator of the Mass Transit Railway. MTR Corporation also develops, commercializes, and manages residential and commercial properties. Additionally, they lease commercial facilities and offer services along the railway, like advertising, telecommunication facilities, and consultancy services.
The Smart Grid metering industry manufacturer also rents retail outlets and offers advertisement within the station, as well as investment properties in shopping malls and offices above the stations. Residential real estate development is part of the company's return for the rail operation.
