Lumiode

Lumiode is a Bronx, New York City-based semiconductor company specializing in the development of high-brightness, low-power microdisplays for augmented reality devices, head-mounted and head-up displays, and pico projectors. The company's products are made by monolithically integrating high-performance silicon transistors with compound semiconductor optoelectronic materials. Lumiode is venture-backed by IP Group, Applied Ventures, and M Ventures.

The applications of these microdisplay products include consumer and enterprise. Lumiode utilizes a wafer-level packaging (WLP) manufacturing process in order to reduce production costs in large-scale consumer applications.
