Lindsey Vonn (born Lindsey Caroline Kildow on October 18, 1984) is a retired American World Cup alpine ski racer, writer, athlete, and television presenter. She was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and currently resides in the United States.
Vonn has studied at the University of Missouri System, University of Missouri, and University of Missouri High School. She holds American nationality and her parents are Linda Anne and Alan Lee Kildow.
During her skiing career, Vonn earned numerous awards, including a gold medal in the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games downhill event, a bronze medal in the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games super-G event, a bronze medal in the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic Games downhill event, a gold medal in the 2009 Val-d'Isère World Championships downhill event, and a gold medal in the 2009 Val-d'Isère World Championships super-G event. Vonn was also named on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list in 2014.
