Laurie Holden (born Heather Laurie Holden on December 17, 1969) is a citizen of the United States and Canada, best known as a film producer and human rights activist. She was born in Los Angeles to parents Glen Corbett and Adrienne Ellis.
Holden pursued education at several institutions including McGill University, Columbia University, the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television.
In addition to her work as a human rights activist, Laurie Holden has contributed to the film industry as a director. She directed the film Silent Hill.
