Karim Atiyeh is a co-founder of the companies Paribus and Ramp.
Atiyeh was born and raised in the country of Lebanon. He moved to the United States later in his life to study. He attended Harvard University from 2007-2011, where he earned a bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering and a master's degree in computer science. After finishing school, Atiyeh moved to New York. Atiyeh later worked as an adviser at 1/0 Capital for one year.
Atiyeh founded Paribus in 2014 with Eric Glyman and Gene Lee. Paribus tracks the prices of items online and notifies and refunds the user the difference when something they've recently purchased goes on sale. Paribus was sold to Capital One in 2017. The three founders remained with the company under Capital One for two years, then left in 2019.
Ramp is a company and automated financial management platform for businesses to track spending transparently. Ramp offers corporate credit cards with competitive benefits, including no late fees or foreign transaction fees and a high cashback percentage. Ramp's automated platform enables businesses to pre-approve spending limits and can analyze spending habits to help companies save money. Atiyeh, Glyman, and Lee founded Ramp together in 2019. Atiyeh serves as Ramp's CTO.
