Kale Pratt & Whitney has a total of 16.250 m2 facilities in Aegean Free Zone; the company is one of the leading aviation companies in Turkey and its facilities contain many special processes. The company was founded with a 51% Kale Group and 49% Pratt & Whitney partnership, its main field of activity is the manufacturing of aircraft engine parts and subassembly groups. The company started its manufacturing activities at the current plant on 2014.

Our company’s manufacturing technology includes new generation multi-axial machine tool, 5X Laser, cutting by Water Jet and Wire Erosion, Hydroform, Hot and Cold Forming, Mechanical presses, Automatic TIG welding machine and Electron Beam Welding Machine, Plasma (HVOF) spray, all types of destructive and non-destructive testing methods, vacuum heat treatment furnace and super cleaning processes. With approximately 500 qualified employees, the company has a considerable experience in processing the titanium, aluminum, stainless steel and super alloys.

Kale Pratt & Whitney manufactures many parts for F-135, the engine of F-35, the most sophisticated fighter aircraft in the world. The manufacturing processes are among the most prestigious manufacturing technologies in Turkey and Europe. Also manufactured in the same facilities are the hi-tech parts of NGPF model, which is the new generation commercial engine of Pratt & Whitney.

Kale Pratt & Whitney confirms to AS-9100, which is the quality management standard required for companies that manufacture for aviation sector, and is subject to audits every year regularly. Kale Pratt also has ASQR-01, which is the aviation quality management system standard of UTC Group. Having made many investments in the field of Information Technologies, the company has met the security requirements of United States of America and obtained NIST 800-171 Compliance. It also obtained ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System certification. The company has also been awarded with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 documents by offering a healthy and safe work environment for its employees
