Josh.ai is a company based in Denver that develops systems for automating households, their primary product being Josh, a voice-controlled home automation system.
The Josh programming language is built to support natural language voice commands, including greetings, questions, instructions, and more. Josh is built to control and connect any “smart” device, from any device, like turning off lights using a desktop. Josh has initially been focused on the smart home, with plans to develop a more general-purpose AI in the future.
Josh Micro is a small, hands-free, AI assistant. Josh Micro is small enough to fit in a palm and has wall-mount options along with across-the-room assistant via voice input. Josh Micro also has a touch-sensitive surface that allows for custom event triggers.
The Josh App gives the user control over their in-house system from anywhere in the world, also being compatible with multiple properties at a time. The system comes with custom commands, voice triggers, and responses. The App allows security management to the user, letting them check in on their house via a security camera integration.
