Joey Krug

Joey Krug is a Puerto Rico-based investor and entrepreneur. He studied Computercomputer Sciencescience at Pomona College before moving on to start his career pathway. Krug is a Thiel Fellow and, an Edmund Hillary Fellow as, well asand a member of the Founders Pledge.

Krug did not earn his Bachelor's degree from Ponoma College but dropped out in 2014 to pursue entrepreneurship. He founded MariPoS, a Bitcoin point of sale (POS) solution, in the same year. Krug has also co-founded other companies and organizations including the Forecast Foundation, an organization for developers, Eco, a financial technology company, and Augur, a decentralized exchange betting platform. In June 2017, Krug became the co-Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Pantera Capital.He also acts as an angel investor and has invested in companies such as Bolt, Zerion, Alchemy, and dNovo Bio.
