Jamie Margolin is an American climate justice activist. At the age of 15, she founded Zero Hour, an organization that centers diverse voices in climate change and led the Youth Climate Marches in DC. She wrote a book about how to be a young activist called ‘Youth to Power: Your voice and how to use it.’
She gained some attention for her involvement in the Aji P. v. Washington state case where she and many others sued the state of Washington over inaction again climate change. In 2019, Margolin was asked to speak on a panel called “Voices Leading the Next Generation on the Global Climate Crisis” alongside Greta Thunberg for the United States House of Representatives.
