Their portfolio comprises principally mezzanine capital investments in medium-sized operating businesses having a substantial part of their activities within Europe. They also have a close affiliation with Indigo Capital France SAS. Indigo Capital is no longer considering new investments. The firm was founded in 1999 and headquartered in London, United Kingdom.

Indigo Capital often invested in companies to provide for transactions such as management buyouts, corporate acquisitions, expansion or recapitalization. They often invest alongside leading private equity firms, but the firm also invests independently.
