H. Robert Horvitz, born on August 5, 1947, is a biologist, physician, and geneticist from the United States. Born in Chicago, he is currently located in the United States.
Horvitz received his education from prestigious institutions, including Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Niles East High School, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology School of Science. His doctoral advisor was the renowned scientist James Watson.
