Founded in 2009 and located in London and Dublin, Greencoat Capital is a venture capital firm with £4 billion under management. They invest in companies in the resource efficiency and renewable energy market especially in wind infrastructure, solar infrastructure and private equity.

Greencoat Capital manages Greencoat UK Wind, a listed renewable infrastructure fund investing in and operating UK wind farms; Greencoat Solar, an independent manager of unlisted institutional capital in solar; Greencoat Renewable, is an owner and operator of euro-denominated renewable infrastructure energy assets; and they are the adviser to ESB Novusmodus LP, a €200 million private equity fund whose capital comes from ESB, the Irish State Utility.
