Golden Ventures is a venture capital firm that specializes in funding seed-stage companies operating in North America. The firm was established in 2011 by Matt Golden. It is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Golden Ventures seeks to invest in companies operating in manufacturing, business services, consumer products and services, education, energy, eSports and gaming, financial technology, food, logistics, media, and e-commerce. The firm invests in early-stage companies, preferring investments in seed-stage companies, but offers follow-on investment up to Series A, with rare moments of funding beyond a Series A stage company.

Golden Ventures invests through various investment funds, often investing between twenty to twenty-five companies in a given fund. However, the firm also uses smaller funds, such as its 2021 $20 million "Opportunities Fund," to make follow-on investments in standout companies from its portfolio. Golden Ventures, while investing across North America and having investments abroad, focuses its investments in Canada and the Canadian start-up ecosystem.
