Founded in 2009, Founder Collective is a venture capital firm primarily based in New York, New York. The firm also has offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and San Francisco, California. It was established by David Frankel, Caterina Fake, Chris Dixon, Eric Paley, Zach Klein, Bill Trenchard, and Micah Rosenbloom. Founder Collective focuses on funding companies that are based in the US’ East Coast. The firm prefers to fund companies in these industries: e-commerce, healthcare, advertising, mobile and Internet of things. It provides capital for startups in the seed and early stage of development. The firm has managed to collect a total amount of $185 million in fund with its most recent round held in November 2016, raising a total amount of $75 million.
