On April 10, 2018 Fleetsmith announced raising $7.7 million in series A funding from Upfront Ventures (lead investor), Index Ventures, and Harrison Metal. Fleetsmith plans on using their series A funding to expand its engineering, product, design, sales, and marketing departments, and improve the capabilities of its product. The CEO and co-founder of Fleetsmith, Zack Blume, made the following statements regarding the companies series A funding:

On April 8, 2019 Fleetsmith announced raising $30 million in series B funding from Menlo Ventures (lead investor), Upfront Ventures, Tiger Global Management, Harrison Metal, and Clark Valberg. The company plans on using their series B funding to hire more employees, increase the capabilities of its product, and expand to markets outside of the United States.
