Evitado develops advanced robotics solutions, focusing on autonomous solutions for traditionally non-autonomous industries. Evitado is developing a temporarily installable collision avoidance system to assist in the movement of large objects, like moving an aircraft into a hangar. The system offers advanced collision warnings to prevent accidents. The company specializes in automating airport operations by building an automation platform.
Evitado Technologies is funded by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie and the Europäischen Sozialfonds as part of the EXIST Program. On the 29th of September, 2021, Evitado Technologies announced the successful completion of the Berkeley SkyDeck program, an accelerator formed as a partnership between UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, the College of Engineering, and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research.
On September 13, 2021, Evitado partnered up with EFW—Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH, a company specializing in the conversion of passenger aircraft into freighter configuration and maintenance and repair of Airbus aircraft. The partnership was created to pilot a portable collision avoidance solution to navigate the aircraft through a busy airport and hangar environment.

On September 13, 2021, Singapore-based GSE specialist CW Aero Services Pte Ltd and Evitado Technologies, which share a common goal in providing secure ground movements for aircrafts and assist ground handlers, MROs, FBOs, and airports to automate their ground operations, became partners As part of the company's specialties in GSE and market know-how, CW Aero Services Pte Ltd will assist Evitado Technologies in promoting the collision avoidance solution.

On December 17, 2021, Evitado partnered up with Seoul Robotics to further develop the company's ground collision avoidance system. The collaboration aims to integrate Seoul Robotics’ 3D perception software, SENSR, with Evitado’s all-in-one system for detecting collisions in airport ground operations.
