Ethernal Gladiators

Ethernal Gladiators is a player-versus-player, role-playing, play-to-earn game set in the fantasy world of Etherlords. The game requires players to choose an NFT-gladiator, with which they enter tournaments with other players where they battle each other. As well, the weapons and gear used by players are also NFTs, and when a player is defeated, the winner is awarded the other users' riches. In turn, users are able to either choose between fighting specific players, or they can play to become the Arena Champion.

Ethernal Gladiators is part of the Enjin Adopter Program and was developed by Evalk International. The game is being built on the gas-free JumpNet blockchain, with plans to move to the Pokadot-based Efinity NFT parachain in the future. As well, NFTs in the game are backed by the Enjin Coin (ENJ) in order to make the NFT assets tradeable in-game and in other markets. The developers of the game are also expecting to launch the game in the Epic Game Store, which recently announced support to NFT-powered games.

The Glory token (GLR) is not intended to act as a cryptocurrency, but rather as an in-game currency. The coin is not pre-minted, and there are no closed, behind curtain sales, and can only be obtained by owners of Gladiator NFTs or in game, to make the token whale-proof. The coin is not intended to be used to pay network fees, but rather is a 100 percent game utility. GLR is used for buying weapons and armor and for upgrading characters and crafting limited NFTs.
