Elcaro provides custom software solutions that facilitate organizational alignment with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is privacy and security law put into effect by the European Union (EU) on May 25, 2018. Any organization worldwide must comply if they target or collect data related to people in the EU. The GDPR will levy harsh fines against those who violate its privacy and security standards, with penalties reaching into the tens of millions of euros. The company was founded by James Reilly, Hans Johansson, and Peter Zeer.

Elcaro provides GDPR tracking, reporting, and management software that addresses all aspects of the EU General Data Protection Regulation Act. The company software is full stack Node / React-based, modern UI and requires minimal instruction in GDPR to utilize. Elcaro GDPR tools are highly structured and require a minimal amount of typing to address user requested workflow thus reducing unforced errors and ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in compliance activities/reporting. The product is based upon market evaluation of competing software and is designed and developed by a team with over thirty years of software product management and development experience at Oracle and Microsoft.
