Eduard Shevardnadze

Eduard Shevardnadze (born January 25, 1928) was a Georgian politician, diplomat, and a national of the Georgian and Soviet Union countries. He was born in Mamati and completed his education at Akaki Tsereteli State University. Shevardnadze was married to Nanuli Shevardnadze and held various occupations such as politician and diplomat.

Throughout his life, Eduard Shevardnadze received numerous awards, including the Hero of Socialist Labor, Order of Lenin, Order of the October Revolution, Order of the Patriotic War 1st class, Order of the Red Banner of Labour, and Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise. He passed away on July 7, 2014, in Tbilisi.
