Founded in 2013, Echosec Systems, formerly known as Beacon, is a location and threat intelligence platform that uses publicly available data to mitigate security risks. The company gathers data points from the dark web, deep web, social media, and other online networks to support government intelligence, security teams, and corporate entities with real-time information.
In July of 2020, Echosec Systems launched an API that provides direct access to data feeds that were previously unavailable to users. The API was developed to streamline access to raw data from sources that are less regulated and includes access to sites that are relevant for counter-terrorism measures, including 4chan and Telegram. Additionally, the API streamlines data from data breaches and other global national security efforts that are not available through other commercial APIs.
Echosec Systems has launched an API, providing direct access to previously unavailable data feeds from fringe social, deep, and dark web sources.
