Being a pixelated collection is no coincidence, Dead Degens is a homage to our culture, a snapshot of our times if you like. It pays tribute to classic collections at the same time as it is inspired by contemporary ones. We’re taking it back to basics and aim to redefine the concept and usage of NFTs. It’s time for a reset, a paradigm shift. Pretentious? Au contraire my fren, au contraire. We are bringing real value to the communities in Web3. The ‘devs’ are actually doing something.

Dead Degens is a project of 4444 digital collectibles launching as a free mint on the Ethereum blockchain during the deep bear market of 2022.

DeadDegens collection was created by a team of blockchain enthusiasts who wanted to showcase the innovative spirit of the cryptocurrency community. The collection comprises various NFTs, each with its own distinct design and color scheme, inspired by various crypto projects.

The team consists of a bunch of degenerate loosers, just like yourself.

Web3 is built on a collectivist ideology. It’s important to make collaboration smarter and encourage Web3 participants to seek efficiency while generating wealth together.

What is needed is an ecosystem to make it easy for all projects and holders within Web3 to create real value for their communities and at the same time deliver a more accessible and comprehensive user experience.

We are implementing a token gated generic platform to bridge web3 with irl, with the working title 'Mundus'. Mundus is the central part of the ecosystem, used for creating, administering and claiming different token gated utilities targeting specific NFT communities. Utilities created by projects, holders and external companies to create synergy effects and generate real value for communities.

The fuel of the ecosystem is $DED. $DED will have significant usage within the ecosystem as it will be used for premium cross community utilities, purchasing advertising space and sponsored utilities on the platform. Holders of $DED will also be able to sell it to advertisers via a community pool.

Dead Degens holders will yield $DED on a regular basis.

And above all, Mundus will be free to use in its simplest form for all projects and holders. They will be able to create utility and value for their communities. It will be accessible for everyone regardless of financial status.

Mundus will be introduced to the Dead Degens community and used as our main utility platform. Dead Degens will be the genesis collection in Mundus.

All projects and holders in web3 will be able to use Mundus to create utilities for their communities, but to be able to yield $DED the Dead Degens community need something in exchange. This can be anything from a monthly bot subscription to perhaps a gated alpha chat.
