Dalian University of Technology

Dalian University of Technology (DUT) is a public university located in Dalian, China. The university was founded in 1949 and is accredited by the Educational Department of Liaoning Province. It is affiliated with Project 985, a major initiative by the Chinese government to foster elite universities. The university operates in the education, higher education, and university industries.

DUT, also known as 大连理工大学, has a motto which translates to "Unity, Enterprise, Pragmatism, and Originality". As an educational institute, it is an organization that operates within China. The university has been assigned 128 patents.
