DLA Piper

DLA Piper is a global law firm with offices throughout the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. The firm has 4,200 lawyers in thirty countries and seventy-six offices, with experience in arbitration, banking, competition and trade, corporate crime, and corporate finance.

The firm was founded by Thomas Townend Dibb and Sir Charles Lupton OBE. Dibb was a partner of Atkinson Bolland & Atkinson, a well-established practice. Lupton was educated at Rugby school and then Trinity College in Cambridge. He qualified as a solicitor in 1881, practicing at Dibb & Co.
