Coupons.de is an online coupon portal specializing in the printing of voucher codes and coupons for shops and brands. The company also offers editiorially tested sweepstakes and vouchers to users. To use a specific coupon offer, users click on the coupon, and the provider page of the chosen brand opens, where they will see a list of vouchers and promotions related to the provider.

They then click on the red "Show Coupon" button to use the coupon. To use sweepstakes, users click “Enter now,” and a layer will open, allowing them to read relevant information. If there is a voucher code, a user can copy it to the clipboard to redeem it later in the brand's shopping cart. The brand's page opens automatically for the voucher redemption. Usually, a special code has to be inputted or some restrictions and conditions of participation apply.

The founder, Torsten Latussek said in an interview

Traveling sparingly as a student, earning money and saving was of course a big issue - I wanted to finance my trips and hobbies. On my trips to the USA, I often came across coupons in advertising flyers or as a display in supermarkets and quickly discovered their savings potential. Back in Germany, this served as the initial idea for a web portal on which I wanted to offer free offers and discounts in “coupon form”. And already, COUPONS4U 2004 was born.
