Conor Murray is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and is originally from Belfast, Ireland. He is the CEO and co-founder of OpenInvest, a company that functions as an investing tool and public benefit corporation that emphasizes social responsibility. Murray obtained a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, located in the Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating from the university in 2005, Murray began working as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York. In 2006, Murray began working as a technology associate at Bridgewater Associates. After seven years, in May of 2015, Murray co-founded OpenInvest with Phillip Wei and Joshua Levin.
