Clarence Birdseye (born December 9, 1886 in Brooklyn, New York) was an American engineer, businessperson, and biologist. He was educated at Montclair High School in New Jersey and later attended Amherst College. Birdseye is credited as the founder of Birds Eye, a company well-known for its frozen food products.
Clarence Birdseye held citizenship in the United States and passed away on October 7, 1956, in Manhattan, New York. Birdseye's contributions to the food industry were recognized with his induction into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2005.
