Circumvent Pharmaceuticals is a pharmaceutical company focused on the development of drugs for the treatment of neurodegenerative disease. The company was founded by Andrew Lim and Devin Wiley in 2017, in Portland, Oregon, United States.
The company looks to address unmet needs of neurodegenerative disease patients, and is targeting heritable forms of neurodegeneration in order to discover and develop drugs for both common and rare forms of these diseases. The company participated in the Y Combinator's W19 Demo Day. There they demonstrated that they are able to provide treatment that can replace missing enzymes at the root of a disease. The company looks to eventually sell their medicine for $100,000 as it is covered by insurance.
