Andrei Gromyko

Andrei Gromyko (born Andrei Andreyevich Gromyko on July 5, 1909) was a diplomat, economist, and politician from the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union. He was educated at Belarusian State Economic University and held USSR nationality.

Gromyko was the father of Anatoly Gromyko and was born in the Gomel Region. He passed away in Moscow on July 2, 1989.

Throughout his career, Andrei Gromyko received several awards, including Hero of Socialist Labor, Order of Lenin, Order of the Patriotic War 1st class, Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Medal "Veteran of Labor", Lenin Prize, USSR State Prize, and Medal "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945".
