Established in 1942, Polzunov Altai State Technical University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Barnaul (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Altai Krai. Since 2010, he was Dean of the Faculty of Innovative Engineering Technologies, and since 2013 - Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Activities. In 2017 he was elected to the position of Executive Director of the Union of Industrialists of Altai State.
