Abbott Biotech Ventures - now known as AbbVie Biotech Ventures - is a venture capital firm established in 2004. It is the subsidiary of Abbott Laboratories, and is based in Carthage, Illinois. As of October 2019, the firm has invested in 14 companies, with five active companies remaining in its portfolio.

Abbott Ventures focuses on investing in companies operating in the emerging medical technology field - such as medical devices, diagnostics, drug/device - with a specific interest in those that align with Abbott Laboratories' current markets and long-term goals. It prefers to invest in companies in development stages and positions itself as a minority investor.
