American architect
Wallace Harrison (born September 28, 1895) was an American architect. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts and held United States citizenship. Harrison received his education at the École des Beaux-Arts. As an architect, Wallace Harrison is known for founding the firm Harrison & Abramovitz and creating several iconic buildings.
Among the buildings Harrison designed are David Geffen Hall, Metropolitan Opera House (Lincoln Center), and The Egg (building). His architectural work has contributed to the landscapes of numerous cities.
Wallace Harrison passed away on December 2, 1981, in New York City.
